Truthfully I cant say I'm that impressed. New models, a new HUD upgrade & a couple of engine upgrades that moders probably wont be able to utilise fully, but apart from that it looks exactly like BF2, same maps, same style (to be expected.), nothing really new or innovating at all.

Have you even read a single article or interview of the game?

Wow, an entire dev team and they were able to produce a total of three game mods over 3 years (conquest, infantry mode, and this titan mode).

PRMM has had Conquest (which is now AAS), extraction, objective, scenario (in 0.4). Technically 5 game modes in only a few release, BF2142 coming with one new game mode really says a lot actually, like, "WTF are they doing?" or "seriously, does EA get monkeys to code this crap?"

Unless EA/Dice are able to produce something that exeeds the quality of the mods for BF2 (and they really are quite high quality, PRMM will even have an entire new sound set) BF2142 will be nothing more than a half decent mod that's not really worth the money there selling it for.

I think it is the cloaking device,his hands are invisible.

when i watch that
all i see is new models and maps
they've got the same commo rose
some new crappy voiceovers
same animation on sniper rifle )the bipod being set down)
everything is the same, just looks different
and OOOO
they made a NEW animation for the med kit
impressive, now all the whores can watch their points *come alive*
And, being a sniper
I see nothing in this game for me, while it does look fun
I see the sniper rifle as being totally useless in this game
While i kno i'll enjoy the game for sure, with other classes and yes, i kno kits are customizable, but still, in all that mess with Walkers everywhere, I don't think I'll see much infantry vs. infantry in this game.
So those are just my thoughts

Ill get it no doubt, the first 2 months of play will be excellent then they'll release a patch that "nerfs" everything and makes everything that was good about it in the first place rubbish.

The sniper rifle is useless in bf2 also. Snipers do nothing for their team and usually the team with the more snipers is the team that loses.

What should be so different about this game as opposed to previous battlefields?

I'm not being an ***, I'm serious. What should they change (besides bugs) in 2142?

It's set in the future, so they have new models and maps, new vehicles, weapons... It's still humans vs humans on Earth, so there's a lot of criteria that has to follow from the other battlefields, like movement and communication. The progressive points and unlocks system is a success, so they've expanded it. They've started to lean towards an "assault" (From Unreal Tournament, a set of objectives to complete with attackers and defenders) type game mode with "Titan mode". Also, they say they're getting rid of those vehicle positions that nobody likes. You've also gotta figure, warfare 136 years in the future will probably be very similar to today, just with different armament. Or, just a series of smart bomb runs lol.
