I have just purchased this game and find it alot of fun. I have a dual xeon 3.2 linux box in texas for game servers and would like to set up a server. I am finding difficulty in locating information and required files to do so. I put the linux server version bf2linuxded1.1.2720552installer.zip on my server and installed it, but it says this is for version 1.22 of the game. I looked on EA's FTP and found a file which claims it's for 1.3, yet it says that it's a beta, as it's under the beta section bf2-linuxded-1.1.2878-710-installer.tar.gz. Do I need to patch with this? I also found very little info on running a "ranked" server other then it requiring some sort of plugin, which I can't locate, as well as some sort of change to the OS enviroment. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
