    Does the Pope play BF2?

Trawling through the country listings on BF2S is interesting when you're bored. All those countries with just one player representing them, such as Chad, Guinea Bissau and East Timor. Also, just in case you needed to know, there are 39 players in Iran and 74 players in Iraq.

But the most interesting is 50 players in the Holy See (Vatican City State). Have the Pope and the Cardinals formed a clan or are the Swiss Guard so bored they have to practice on BF2?

Edit - just noticed one of the Vatican guys is called Irapedthepope

I bet it's the Swiss Guard, god what a boring job and the court jester uniform. *shudder* Those guys are a joke. How many would actually have any combat experiece? None, because the Swiss are bloody fence sitters and they can take their neutrality and shove it right up their collective rear ends.

They do have computers in the Vatican you know. I'd say some of them are real accounts.

                      Here's a history lesson.

Switzerland during World War II: Did Switzerland violate it's neutrality and prolong the war?

This is biased as it's a Swiss site and they can't make themselves look bad but they had to say something about all the Jewish gold they collected. they then destroyed the records so they could keep it.

They also currently sell arms to almost any bidder.

Neutral my ***. This country has made obsene amounts of money on others blood.
                      I can't stand that country.

Re: Does the Pope play BF2?

The Swiss were hired mercenaries. Their soldiers were some of the most elite in the 1500s and 1600s. The country doesn't have to declare war in order to sell their soldiers to the highest bidder. And I believe the Swiss Guard still undergo superb training compared to regular armies. Many thought Michelangelo designed the Swiss Guard uniform, but the Vatican says otherwise (they also call the colors "attractive"). Sorry for blabbling history, but it's what I studied in college. Military history was quite fascinating.

I doubt the Pope plays. He's so old school, he probably doesn't even use the internet. I assume people live in the Vatican, and aren't Swiss Guard or Cardinals, etc.

Exactly why I dislike them. They say they are neutral and hide behind that when clearly they are not. Also when everyone could actually use their help where are they? Making money off of all sides.

I too am a history fanatic.
