hello im new
and i was wondering
if my computer would run this
my specs are as followed

* AMD Athlon64 3500+ Processor
* MSI K8N Neo4-F Motherboard
* 1GB (2x512MB) Kingston PC3200 DDR
* Black Supercase 115 Tower w/Front USB
* ATX 350W Power Supply
* Samsung 250GB SATA II Hard Drive
* LG 16x16 Dual Layer DVD-Burner
* eVGA e-Geforce 7300GS 256MB Videocard (Dual-Monitor, HDTV-Out)
* Intel® Onboard 10/100 Ethernet
* MS Windows XP Media Center Edition

Yes your computer will run BF2, probally best on 1024x768 settings on low-medium.

No, don't listen to Merlin...you can run it, not only well, but on all high...or some on high. You can stay afloat with a minimum of 50 FPS too! As reference, I have:

1 Gig Corsair Value Select RAM
Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2 MHz
Radeon 9800 XT 256MB AGP
250Gig SATA HD

I would recommend some on high...keep dynamic shadow on medium, along with textures, and you'll be fine, in fact, more than fine. Make sure to OC your graphics card, otherwise you won't get all these nice features. Also, make sure to set your computer to 1280X1024 @ 85-90 Hertz, those are my settings...you can see why I said Merlin is nuts..if my graphics card can handle these settings...yeah you get the idea.

LOL :laugh2: all that with a 7300GS? I dont think so. Look at this review of the 7300GS, it is compared to some of the other budget cards and one of the tests is BF2.

They say they ran BF2 on max at the resolutions of 800x600 (27.2FPS), 1024x768 (18.2FPS) & 1280x1024 (14.2FPS). Even with some of the setting to medium I doubt the 7300GS can get 50FPS.
