So what has been happening in the bf2 community, new patches, exp packs ect? I left right after Special forces. But now I am interest again and want to be updated on what has been going on.

BF2 1.3 is quite a different game from BF2 1.0 or whenever SF came out. Unfortunately they've actually regressed and 1.3 has more numerous and more severe bugs than before the patches.
On the bright side, there are world models for UAVs (!!!!), some weapons are more accurate, .. that's about all.
If you don't care about stats being recorded, I would suggest not patching and just playing on 1.0/1.12 or thereabouts servers (yes there are still quite a few)Comment
