i have no idea, but if it has been doing this for a while and nothing bad has been happening, id just forget about it

Hello, i never had problems with bf2 (well in one case that involved patch 1.3 but thats it) and lately i been noticing a weird thing, everytime i hit "join game" my PC would freeze for 2 secs and a loud beep would follow (a total of a 4 sec freeze) after that my game would go normal and i play for hours flawlessly, but always wondered what could be causing that and if its dangerous if it keeps happening.:|:
