2 shots from AA and chopper not dead?

So yesterday im playing gulf of oman, im at the farthest point to the west. (One close to the us arty)

I was a mec and the poitn was captured. I spotted a attack chopper flying over me and then moving towards the east. i locked on and fired, the chopper DID NOT drop flares.
both missiles hit from what i saw and the chopper didnt die?

Happened more than once to the same chopper :|

It's common knowledge that it takes 3 AA shots to down a chopper/jet or 2 A2A missles.

It depends on where u hit the chopper with the AA gun! like if u hit the chopper head on it would cause more damage than if u just hit the tail rotars(i think)
but not really sure what parts of the heli is weekest. dont really use the AA.
