I have seen this phrase before but I am not exactly sure what it means. If it is some type of hack then please just say so instead of just flaming away.

Re: What is pixel aiming?
No it isnt a hack. With certain weapons such as the TOW, tank main gun etc etc you can position your self in a certain spot and then put the reticle at a certain pixel and fire. The shot will then hit something of importance like the carrier or attack chopper. The certain pixel you fire at is marked by something like a wall or tree. Like you put the reticle just above the wall and below one of the leaves.
This is one example of a pixel shot: http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77727Comment

Re: What is pixel aiming?
lol. OK. There are certain EXACT locations to aim TOWs and other things that allow you to kill enemy objects far beyond visual distance. For example, the hotel TOW can destroy the MEC chopper on Sharqi. Perhaps it does have to do with actual counting of pixels and etc, but I think it's just very precise/learned/conditioned aiming.Originally posted by stephensolfoit s werte for example u cant see the cobra but u know eere it spawns and u hit it with a tow or something, dont worry some1 else will explain it to.Comment
