...when you sit in a Tank and you fight against another one,but some idiot from your team in another vehicle does think it is a good idea to just hang around your back and wont let you move back to dodge the Shots from the enemey tank?I cant count the times i got killed because some muppet wouldn´t let me move back

Dont you find it annoying...
Well, I would find some way to go around him first, without dying. If it wouldn't kill him, I would try to ram him or push him out of the way. If you can't do that, find somewhere to your front to hide the tank or move forward to dodge a shot. If all else fails, exit the tank. -

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
Not that easy when it´s another Tank. Most of these guys just dont realize that you fight against someone and they get pretty mad when you try push them back,i got the one or other shot in my back when i did try to push them back.
I usually try to stay a bit away from other friendley tanks/Apc/mobile aa etc and just go to cover them if they gonna go down bad and i am still at full health. But it looks like that ppl think to drive in a row is a good idea and then most of the time they are not even enginers so they dont do anything to help you.I see rareley that some of my mates try to cover me when i am the main target of an enemy tank, just sad...Comment

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
Whats annoying is idiots in tanks reversing to get away from enemy when im in behind them repairing them. Where else am I supposed to be to repair them? Side or front??? I dont think so!
They are so stupid and more often than not they cant get out of the way by reversing!!!!
DONT REVERSE TO TRY AND AVOID ENEMY TANK FIRE UNLESS NO ONE IS BEHIND YOU! AND YOU ACTUALLY HAVE SOME COVER TO AVOID BEING HIT!Comment

^^^ What he said.
STOP PANICKING IN THE FRIGGING TANK!
You can, if you look really closely, see your tank/apc health going UP. THIS is a give-away that you are being helped by an engy. Use the minimap and you will see where that valuable helper is!!Comment

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
or when repairing a tank from behind, simply lie on the floor!
There is enough clearence that if they do roll back they will go over the top of you and not hurt you, it's also good for sniper cover as well so you should try and use it as much as possible!
Just a useful little tip...
As for parking a vehicle behind you... well, there's no helping some people i guess! :laugh:Comment

I love it when you get in a battle with another tank and you hit him 4-5 times and then he turns around and nails you twice and you're toast...Comment

Don't be so silly, we CAN'T SEE YOU repairing behind us especially if the map is busy. As a general rule in life; if it's bigger than you move.
If the tank in front of you is reversing there is probably a good reason.Comment

Or better yet, they take off the instant I repair them, leaving me out in the open with no transportation or cover!Originally posted by richardaballWhats annoying is idiots in tanks reversing to get away from enemy when im in behind them repairing them.Comment

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
That´s right and usually the ppl around me aren´t engi´s,so i really dont care if they are so stupid and sit behind me when i am in a fight with another tank.If i see someone is reparing me i will be carefull, but if not...well...i dont wanna die,so i have to dodge the enemey shots.Originally posted by CDN-SMOKEJUMPERDon't be so silly, we CAN'T SEE YOU repairing behind us especially if the map is busy. If you try to repair a vehicle always try to stay at the left or right site of it,then you dont get overrun.Comment

Well, if you nailed him 4-5 times and he's still alive, and he hit you twice and you're toast, then that just goes to show how bad your aim is in the tank. AIM for the TREADS in the front or back of the tank. 2 tread shots will take it down. A really well placed shot can one-hit a tank.Originally posted by BRUTALITEEEEEEEEEI love it when you get in a battle with another tank and you hit him 4-5 times and then he turns around and nails you twice and you're toast...
Also, if a tank has a supply box next to him, or an engineer vehicle/infantry repairing him, it may take 5-8 shots to take it down.Comment

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
That one-hit thing usually never works, you need a lot of luck to do this. There is a video on secretsofbattlefield.com that show´s you where you have to hit the tank, but to really one shot him you still have to hit him 2 times and i rather go for the tracks then to try this luck thing out.But i have to say,on a really long range battle where you only see a few pixels of the enemey tank you can´t really aim for the tracks, you just hit him random anywhere, sometimes you are lucky and hit the tracks or the place direct under the turret and he goes to hell pretty quick, but that´s just luck.Originally posted by SirCyRo-iNTA really well placed shot can one-hit a tank.Comment

Re: Dont you find it annoying...
I am constantly telling my firends to stop following me and to come alongside to fight when we are driving armor.
Forward and reverse are crucial to staying alive in a tank. If your going to be nice enough to repair a tank (or APC) on the battlefield. Repair it from the sides. Lay in the prone position if the incoming fire is too thick. If your too scared to be on the side, ask him to pop smoke to cover you. I have also jumped up on the back and proned behind the turret to repair. Standing behind a tank during battle will get you TK'd everytime. Don't do it.Comment
