    Re: The Worst Kit!

In my opinion, there is no "worst" kit in BF2. It always depends on the map and the situation that your team is in. For example, there is hardly any medics on large, open-field maps, but a medic will be extremely useful on a team that uses VOIP and know what the heck they're doing. I learned that when I played medic with an L85A1 on Dragon Valley, which I've got a gold medal on that round.

To get back what's everyone is getting at, I'm still a bit weak as Spec Ops (I used to play that kit all the time when I first started out the game) and Sniper but I'm slowly improving my skills. All other kits out there is where I've gotten used to playing them. Hell, I've started using the SMG for Anti-tank and I've been getting kills between 15-25 kills alone on a fully crowded city map (and I don't spawn kill, either) lately. Now, I need to spruce up my skills on the SMG's and the Jackhammer.

my worst kit is support. It just annoys me running around with that 800lb gun with you every where you go..... much rather run faster like meds and spec ops.... assault is OK too. engy is my fav though. im a friggin shotgun whore.

they're all gd really. u jst have to adapt to the different styles of play that go with the different kits. i have to say that assault is my favorite jst cos its so gd against infantry, used to be a lot better but they weakened the GL, still gd tho.

I am surprised to see the hate toward the DAO-12. That gun rocks! You just have to make sure that you are in a position to get in cqc with it. If an enemy is running at you hide behind something and wait, then blast away. There are maybe two guns that can beat it in cqc. The G3 and the MKA31.

You guys really need to learn how to use teamwork.

Judging kits by themselves are meaningless. Kits working together are unstoppable.

Exactly. No such thing as a one man army. An organized squad of 4 guys can completely dominate 10, 15, maybe even 20 people. Assault, Support, Medic, Anti-Tank. Boo on the Lone Wolves.

                Re: The Worst Kit!

I'm not to fond on engineer kit. It's fun to repair things but much funner to destroy them.

There is nothing like loading up the special ops kit and swimming to the small US Arty Island on Wake or getting a helo drop if your lazy. Then you ask for a supply drop away from the arty. you blow up all the arty, load up on more c4 steal a boat and take it to the far side of the carrier. You sneak on the carrier and drop a few c4's on the commander hut. Remember, don't blow up the hut until you have the c4 loaded on the UAV radar as well or you will alert the enemy that you are on the carrer. As soon as you blow up the commander hut and uav radar go get your self a few kills. Chances are they will swarm you after they know you are on the carrier so just get as many kills as you can and get out of there.

If you wanna stay on the carrier to blow up their stuff again it will get tricky. I'm guessing you'd wanna hideout in the interior of the carrier for a while and come out after your commander tells you they have repaired their stuff. Then, get yourself a supply drop behind the tower on the flight deck. load up on c4 and repeat the destruction. After that hide out for sec and wait for a jet to spawn. Steal that sucker, go land it on your flight line and make sure you give it to someone that your positive can fly it without getting killed the entire round. It will leave the US team with one Jet.

Engineer is fun but sometimes you don't even get repair points, and when you do, you end up sitting there for a minute holding down your mouse for 1 measly point. AT deserves more points for killing tanks. Assault to me is the worst class. It only gets points for killing, but the amount of points it receives is the same as any other class would get. I think more people would respect assault more if they got more points for doing their job. My 2¢.

i agree with BioDiaper i have a hard time with the engineer kit. not much personal benefit from repairing and often find it difficult to get kills with the shotty.(probably because i have yet to unlock the jackhammer.) im not really any good with AT Mines and dont get that many kills with them. i really dont think any one kit is worse than another. its just usually a personal preference or lack of skill with that kit.(as in my case.)

AT - needs TLC, should have had an assault rifle instead of medics having one from Day zero. Points for hitting armour and a much faster missile would go a long way
Assault - needs TLC in a bad way. Anyone who says the gl now is useful is lying. I used to be quite proud of my longer range skill with it. If it got any ONE of the following Assault would be back kicking ***.
                      - more and longer lasting smoke
                      - a more powerful gl
                      - longer sprint/stamina
                      - a more accurate rifle than the medics
                      - portable stinger
The GL is still useful, but not as useful. I hardly shoot at vodniks at all anymore... its not going to kill them. Only about 1/6 or 1/5 infantry kills (ground or wall - short or medium distance) will be sh1tty. Other then that.. its still good.

For some reason I cant get this out of paragrph form... and I didnt type it for nothi

My favorite kits, in descending order: -Medic: Owange… that’s all I really gotta say. +2 for revive, random +1’s for healing; the ak-101 is godly, g36c is nice, as well as the Enfield. Keeping PPL you’re on coms with alive is an invaluable tool. -Support: Excellent with the RPK, I don’t really use this kit with any other gun. If I’m going to use it on another team then MEC I’ll use the MG36 – its closest to the RPK. The PKM sucks IMO. Anti-Tank: The DAO is ownage and the P90 isn't bad. You just need to use your pistol with that kit, and get good at long range pistol ownage. You can always rocket a target out of range of a p90, too – unrevivable kills are always nice. AT missiles are fun to have while walking around the map, never know when you're gonna have an enemy heli over head - one shot will usually send him running, and if you get a second off, he's dead. Passing vodniks - this kit is the only one that can take them out anymore. I'm not talking about vodniks that you have planned for At mines or c4, I'm talking about in the middle of teh game with the flags scrambled and you get a vodnik passing... you can take a chop shot at him and maybe get a few kills - if it was damaged a little. I have a lot more tank kills as an infantry while playing AT then c4... distance is better then insta-kill IMO. Track shots are win. -Assault: The GL is useful… check above a post or two. The g3 is too inaccurate at anything but close range, so I don’t use it. -Spec Ops: The g36c is an amazing gun… head shots galore, regardless of distance. C4 is always nice to be carrying around, plus its fun to wreak havoc on the enemy commander’s toys. -Sniper: Useful at times like river wars on Karkand, etc… Otherwise I don't play this kit. I'd rather run around (which I usually do) with a gun that is more effective for meeting an enemy face to face around a corner/taking flags. -Engineer: I only use this when I’m going tank whoring. It’s fun to go 25-3 ++, if you know what I mean. Also its useful when flying Little Bird on a large map like Road Rage.
