Ok, i got fed up with my AGP x850xt and some pos athlon from the days of a jesus. And decided to update my rig.

    Should BF run with?:

    ASUS S939 A8N-SLI PREMIUM
    ASUSTEK GF 7900GT TOP 256MB
    AMD ATHLON 64 3500+
    1GB 400mhz DDR

well yes but S939 is kind of obsolete,, a AM2 motherboard would be better

well, ya, go for the AM2 boards, its about the same price as the 939 boards now and they support vista and DDR2 ram. the asus M2N would be good.

Sure it will run it but if you are willing to spend ~$150 -$200 on a mobo I would go with a Conroe setup. The E6600 should come out this month and will blast away most AMD CPU's in games.
