ok, i just bought bf2, and i want to play it really bad. I installed it, directx 9.0c, everything that came with it. when I double click it, the resoulution changes like any other game, but then changes right back. and thats it, it wont run. any feedback on what you think the problem would be would be helpful, thanks.

intel pentium 4 2.7 GHz
512 Mb RAM
Nvidia GeForce4 448 Go 64Mb
i dont know what else you need, but i think i should add that i have a widescreen monitor, i dont know if that would do anything or not.

im not sure that u can run it with that graphics card. i think u need at least 128Mb in ur card

Is that a laptop or desktop? Not that it matters much, none of the GF4 series of cards are supported in BF2. The Ti's might run it but won't render it properly, and the MX's don't stand a chance.

If you want to run it your going to have to upgrade..Tell us what mobo you have

it is a laptop, well, its called a desktop replacement. ( i dont know if that matters or not). sorry for the question, but whats a mobo.

Mobo = Motherboard

Its the motherboard, which alot of the crucial things for your computer are connected to, like RAM ( what your computer uses for speed ), the CPU, and your videocard.

Its a Laptop!!!! LOL! i think u may never get a chance to play bf2 any time soon. u cant upgrade a laptop. u have a desktop?

its my familys desktop, but i dont want to go into the specs of that.....you can almost guess.

but my brother does have a top of the line desktop that i first played bf on, which made me get it. but now it doesnt work and im sad...
