Need help, Vegas users !!

In my current project, I have many Audio events.

Some are pretty louder than others, so is there a way to control the volume of each events ? So, exanple, I would like to play the first event, then when the second begins the volume increases automatically, then the third events the volume decreases, and so on

plz make a step-by-step explanation

1) Click on the top of the audio event box

2) Drag down (blue line)

Or create an audio envelope for the whole layer by right clicking anywhere on that audio layer. Adjusting the volume by adding set points.

XaliaS has you covered. "V" is a shortcut to show/hide volume envelopes. Right click on it to create points.

There is a volume control at the beginning of the event. You can also do as Xalias says, pull down the db and you can fade in and out at the end of each event - or crossfade into another audio event.

I like the word event.

I have one question. Is there any audio editor in Vegas like adding effects to the audio?

As far as I have used, yes, but it's non real-time effects. In other words, you make your settings for the effect, save-as a new file, and that's what you get. No real-time tweaking. I have used the "reverb" effect to make a song or sound fade out at the last note.

You can also dedicate another audio editor/program in your preferences as the Vegas audio editor. It turns out to be a macro to open your audio in that program but makes for a quick transition.
