I have reached the 60000 points needed for promotion, but the damn game hasn't given it to me. My question is: Is there a lag in the game before it promotes you even though your in game stats have the required points?

yes. keep waiting and thing go into a match or finish the match with the points need and there yeh go!

Go back into A server, the moment u get another point, it will promote u. Happens to me every time.

yeah its a long stretch from 1st sgt to Sgt Major but im almost there still 6000 to go though

Because I thought this was the place to have all my Battlefield 2 questions answered. I have never noticed the delay before and thought it to be odd.
