7800GTX Core Speeded ?

Ok i this may not sound right but for some reason my carded Default core speed is 600MHZ and (Memory Speeded is 1400mhz ) Now does that sound right? becuse i know the default for one is 430mhz core and memeory is 1200mhz but im not overclocking it tho

some are stock overclocked. as in, its factory overclocked already when u buy it. normally with some extremem or something moniker.

well i called MSI And told me that it is not overclocked but they siad it sounds weaird tho so they want to me to send it in but if there nothing wrong dont brother i just want to tell them that . but the they siad said i got warrnnty becuse they do i have a D.O.T So

Don't bother returning it unless you see any problems (artifacts). If you return it you will end up with a slower card.

Artifacts are strange pixels/dots/textures

Why do people address the language of the post when they understand what is said in the 1st place, so what if the spelling & grammer isnt correct... ATLEAST you can understand what he's trying to say.

that's a pretty hefty OC for a 7800 gtx, my factory OC was only 470, what are your temps, does the nvidia control panel tell you that the core speed is that high? if you arent experiening any artifacting, and you case isn;t being turned into an oven by the card, enjoy it.

I don't think the card will run that high without water cooling. Where are you getting these clock readings from?

If you haven't already download coolbits then look in the NVidia Control Panel to see what the settings are.

with 91.39 i cant seem to find my core settings(it just says cvt or dmt or windows mode):cry: but my msi is not that high im sure >dont burn it out now!!:p can u turn it down??

if your card was extreme, look at this. its memory clock is much faster.

Thats what it saying i dont know why ? but its not over heating and i dont have coolbits but it could be the stuiped NVIDIA DRIVERS Saying that but my nx7800gtx in 3dmark03 can get a Score of 8000-10000 and thats not with the D.O.T Thing they gave me and it could be the drivers ... or maybe i got a card that they where messing around with and some how i got it ?
