A new map: Europe/europa something?

Hey,
I was looking for a server to play on and just caught a glimpse of a (ranked?) server that was playing a map "Europe *something*" or "Europa *something*". Anyone know what it was about? Couldn't join it of course.. I did have the Ranked-filter on so it couldn't have been a mod-server..?

I know there's the Road to Jalalabad in 1.4 (haven't patched).

If this has been discussed before, sorry for my bad searching skills.

Are you sure that it wasn't a map to some mod? or boosterpack?

Well it was probably just one of those servers running custom maps... Nothing special...

With all due respect, but wtf do you mean there? Custom maps can be played on ranked servers, right?

AFAIK, you can't play custom maps on ranked servers. I could custom make a map so that there are 25 armor spawns for MEC but none for USMC. How would that be fair for ranked?

My guess is he had the ranked box checked, but this came up and was unranked. Only way to tell is by the icons left of the name. If the server has the Corporal rank (2 stripes) it's ranked. Otherwise, not.

Why do I regularly see ranked servers playing custom maps? Must be a bug or something ...

It is possible for that to happen. Some of the the 1.4 BETA servers have the ranked logo in the browser but aren't actually ranked. So it is possible for unranked things to be classed as ranked.

youre mistaken bud, if my memory doesnt fail me thats one of the maps from the mod Allied Intent.
