For some reason I can't get the hotkey feature of winamp to work whil I am in-game, it works fine on the desktop but stops as soon as the login screen appears. If anyone knows how to get around this it would be really helpful, as I like to listren to music while flying.

Re: Winamp hotkeys and BF2
I get the same "problem", I think it's because BF2 binds some of those keys. I don't think those hotkeys are meant to work inside BF2... Use an external stereo or something, or try binding other keys that the CTRL-ALT-XXX.
BTW, do you have the default hotkeys insinde Winamp?
You can also buy a keyboard with media keys

Re: Winamp hotkeys and BF2
This post:made me think that they would work in BF2, and I have got them mapped to standard keyboard keys not ctrl-alt-xxx.Originally posted by AlphaNutI sometimes have Winamp running in the background, and a huge playlist loaded.
Have not noticed any lag so far... I mainly listen to sound when piloting, or driving in a tank.
It can also be fun when infantry whoring and going berzerk.
Map the hotkeys in Winamp so that you can pause, forward, backward, volume adjustment (NOT the system volume, just the Winamp volume which is separate from the global system volume. Very nice if you want to have it running low in the background.)

Re: Winamp hotkeys and BF2
If it still doesn't work, then I guess BF2 just isn't made for in-game music
.. you can use an external stereo if you want. Check out this thread.
EDIT/ Just saw you allready did that, sorry :)

The thing I don't understand is that fraps works with hotkeys and I have never had a problem with it.
