I have 2 copies of bf2 one for my desktop one for my laptop ....the problem is i installed the same one on both and play mostely on my desktop well my brother in law is in town and he wants to learn to play so i set up an account for him on my lappy and when we try and join a game it says CD KEY NOT VALID. When i try to login my account name its just dandy and works great is there a way to change your key without uninstalling it so i can just type the key off the other bf2 box.... I know that in ea games/battlefield 2/ support there is a cd key program whether it changes it or not i am not certain i tried and it still didnt work. Is there anyway of doing what i am asking please help?

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support then run Battlefield 2_code. If not re-install the game on the machine you want to have the different key on.

Try to reinstall the game, OR edit your registry manually.
To do that, go to "start" and "run" then type "regedit"
go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc" then edit the cd key there... It would be something like this:
x9392xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx where x is your cd key, and leave x9392 infront of it.
Try this and see if it works.
PS: And leave out the - between the numbers...
