Well it doesnt seem anymore offensive than the original battlefield storyline could be construed as. As for it creating a 'racial incident', dude, thats just going a bit too far.

The MEC vs PLA Revolution mod, the storyline offended some americans yet some non-Americans liked it, lets get one thing clear, this is a storyline, not real life its depicted on real life, but it isnt real life, its not as if im offending you on a personal level, but its just the way its been written.

In order to create a story line that contains only the armies used in your mod you had to get the USA out of the picture. It's as reasonable and accurate a possiblity as any other.

it was the first idea that sprung to mind, if it has caused such alot of debate i will change it, but personally i think its ok.

ive got no idea, but as soon as the storyline was read, the american BF2 public expressed there feelings of the fact they think its anti-american

I'm from the US, and I don't find that offensive. But, then again, I'm not a "representative" of the people, just one person out of many.

It's your mod, make it however you'd like.

I'm American and I don't find it offensive. Don't change it. It's just a game. They should get over it. I love America and wish no harm to it or it's citizens but with the way they are handling the country now a defeat in the future is not that unlikely. Hopefully it doesnt happen but America is greedy and is a bully. Whoever doesn't like the story line can choose not to play it.
