    Unpack system files

Ok, so im sitting here at work (i have a lot of free time), i was contemplating on whether or not unpacking the various .rar or .zip files (depending on what compressor you use), would affect the performance of your system. I have heard this done for other games, and it offers a signifigant decrease on load times and an increase in overall performance. My only concern in doing this would be punkbuster somehow mis-reading all the unpacked files, thus offering a permaban or HW ban.

What are the community's thoughts on this?

There are 3 possible outcomes to what you are proposing.

        1. It works and you become famous do shaving cream ads etc.

        2. It does not work and crashes like a dog and you then must reinstall SF clean.

        3. You do nothing and it still crashes like a dog I mean after all this is BF2/SF we are talking about.
