Battlefield 2 Crashing HELP!!!!

Hey Guys i have tried everything please could you help me. Battlefield 2 can load up and after about 30 seconds it crashes to the desktop, no matter what graphics settings i use.
I tried installing the 1.3 patch but then the game doesn't even load it crashes before it even gets into the game. I have tried deleting my pagefile.sys and reloading it, i have tried graphics drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling. I am going insaine. My Pc is definatly ok to run the game.

I'm Running

Pentium 4 3.2GHz 2MB Cache 800FSB
Gigabyte 8N-SLI-Pro Nforce 4 Mainboard
2x 1024MB RAM in Dual Channel 667
Gigabyte Geforce 7900GT 256MB 256Bit
500W Power Supply

And cooling is definatly not a problem my cpu is normally around 27 Degrees Celcius. Please could someone help me out

Have you tried reinstalling the game then applying the FULL 1.3 patch.

Also before you install again delete everything in the BF2 folder in my documents. You'll have to change your key bindings again etc but it was the only was I managed to solve it.

Yes i have tried that this morning twice the second time just so i could get into the game this time not installing the 1.3 patch. Do u think the 1.4 Beta patch could help?

maybe its a hardware problem? or u could look at the crash logs. i think its somewhere in my documents, battlefield 2, Dmp

What do i use to open that file in the DMP Directory

i think notepad will do.

Had a look no luck, doesn't really tell me anything. I dont think its hardware related i just sorted this computer out recently, everything in here is practally brand new and everything else works properly all other games run perfectly.

Yup a few times a day for like the last 3 days, going insaine, never had this many issues with a game
