    APC, gunner..

Yeah so I was a gunner in one, then had a urge to go to the bathroom.. so I came back like 3 minutes later to my surprise I got almost 16 points from driver kills assists. So when you join a gunner spot do you think you're really gonna kill somthjing? or just mooching off the head guy?

If i need to step away from my computer for a min or so. I try and jump in one. I'm usually engineer, so i'm getting driver kill assists and repair points. Deselecting a spawn if you go afk is another good practice. Thats how i got my shameful 14 death death-streak.

I generally think I am going to get a ride somewhere, or I'm AT and I hop out to help the driver kill vehicles. If I don't get out its because I am drinking the driver's beer while he is distracted.

Rearly an APC does get into a good position where you have a good shooting spot. Once I was in one of the APC's and the driver chose a nice spot behind the flag on Gulf Of Oman, it was good, he shot in one direction I shot in the other. If the APC's would be always full, they would be the ultimate capturing machines when there are infantry at flags.

i like to use the apc as a road block. like on karkand, i park it sideways on the street entrance blocking it with the body, and fill it with engineers and a supply crate. with it sideways, i fill the whole street, plus, the guys inside can all shoot down the street too. its great as it frees up the tank to go and try to capture the back flags.

I think that the APC's should have more than 1 occupant before they can move or fire weapons .... that would mean that they would be used as intended, i.e. as armoured PERSONNEL carriers, not as whoring tools

not to get off on a tangent...but if you're a good gunner in a bomber you can steal most of the kills out from under the pilot. guide the missile into the grey flag he's lined up on. its usually good for a kill or two. and if you can't hit ground targets before the pilot gets close enough to bomb...!?!

Yeah, I find that too. You always have to hope you get a pilot who's in it for the fun, not the points and who's happy to line you up and let you get on with it. Sometimes you'll get in the situation when the pilot will try to make you miss tanks, etc so they can take them themselves.

Lmao that happened to me, I died 11 times in a row, it was in the beggining but I won't do that again. It was on Sharqi and I went to use the phone and came back and I died 11 times, I had 0/11 so I killed someone else then this tank was killing our spawn, so im on like 1/12, but its alright because I spawned and just hid myself and went to the toilet, but nope someone killed me, so I hit 1/13 spawned again and again like 4 times then someone kept laying claymores at our spawns so died a further 2 times, got 4 kills died again 5/20 Purple Heart.

Great little squad is support driving the apc, with AT and Eng riding along. If you come across infantry, you have enough people to cover the flanks with the machine guns. Come across armor: AT hops out, does his thing while using the APC as cover and getting reloaded from the support driver. Eng stays behind the APC with his wrench working like a madman. And 3 people can cap a flag decently quick.
