Yeah, Pred's TV is a 17" so no point.

Anyways, I played Halo 2 on a projector before, it's amazing.
Battlefield 2 flying would be better.

                  Re: Big Screen BF2

                  I've done 17 full/20 wide/50 wide/60" wide screen.. Oh yeah, and 22" full screen bf2.

For the tv's, unless you can read chinese I highly recommend not using S-video. As started earlier, VGA (also referred to RGB)/DVI ports are your best option. HDMI is ok but its in 16x10 view vs 16x9 for computers so all that means is you screen is cut off a bit (could not get bf2 running in hdmi last I recall).

As far as resolution goes, that depends on your tv format. Most people will have 1080i meaning max res is like 13xx x 1080 native on the screen. Bf2 will let you play at 1024x768. I haven't tried to go any higher simply because I didn't really care. 1080p is out now so you may be able to achieve a higher res because thats native 1920x1080.

Then again, why do you want a bigger res? Wouldn't the smaller res give the bigger headshots in your scopes?

Here is my set up on a 50" with surround sound hooked up too =D

Ive been using a 32" Sony Bravia wide screen, I love it
I got a 60" Sony SXRD I thought about hookin up but thats too much a pain in the *** to move the pc there or the tv here

I am toying with the idea of sliding my machine closer to teh tv so I can utilize the component video vs. S-Video and play some this weekend. Anyone else try this?
Wait you have 65" HD and YOU HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET?? Are you crazy?? GO FOR IT!

lower resolutions doesnt make things bigger... it just has less, bigger pixels. Doesnt mean your enemy's head is going to get bigger, just means less pixels will be used to create their heads at lower resolutions.

i did hook up my 26" tv to my comp once, just to try it out. Wasn't as good quality as my monitor, but still was bigger :).

My church has a screen, I would say 60 feet across maybe? and a hd projector. It would be awesome to play on that, and then with the full surround sound systems and huge sub woofers mounted on the ceiling, it would be sick!

                            Edit- heres a pic!
