sry for another one, but i have a Radeon 9250 intel celeron 2.70ghz and 504 MB of ram. should that be good enough? or do you need more info

Radeon 9250= rubbish (for bf2).
celeron 2.70ghz= its ok.
504 MB of ram= not ok put at least one more Gig.

I own the same graphic card, i was playing bf2 on it for 2 days then the card is burn.now i'm on Nvidia6200 and i'm happy with it.
I not trust ATI anymore.

Vipa and Captain Black, no offence, but both of your graphics cards suck balls - theyre low end chips and only a step up from integrated graphics. You want a 7600 or X1600 series card at least, spend your money on better graphics before anything else.

Vipa, do you have an AGP slot or PCI-E? If its AGP, just get yourself another 512MB of RAM and pick up a 6600GT from eBay or something and you should be able to play BF2 reasonably well. Only upgrade your motherboard if you have some serious cash to spend.
