Player in Need

I guess I would still be considered a Newbie at BF2 but I looked through the forum rules and didn't see nothing that this post would break so here it goes. I am looking for a decent bunch of folks to play with that maybe use Ventrilo and aren't all wrapped up in the clan thing. Sounds simple but more often than not you ethier hit up on a server that is hardcore clan members and don't give outsiders the time of day. Or a server full of folks that couldn't work as a team to save their life. I have played on a couple good servers with decent players playing and great admins but they are few and far between. I hope this post made a bit of sense and didn't break any forum rules. I look forward to some replies.Thanks for taking time to read.

doesn't totalbf2 have a server?

i bet you could jump on and play with some of the people in this forum.

but i'm with you mystical - i hate joining a clan server when it's the clan vs. pubbies. as a pubbie (but with some skill) it just annoys me to no end (but hey - they pay for the server).

EA official servers are nice too - as they aren't run by clans.

actually that seems exactly the opposite of what he was asking for. i think he wanted to play with good folks who aren't in clans (or at least not playing for their clan in their server at the moment)

Thank you troybob and Revoluti0n for your responses! I am not really into the clan scene and just looking for good folks to play with. Nothing against clans in any way but more often than not I am on to play to unwind from work, make a few friends along the way, and enjoy myself. Personally, I don't mind playing any role on a particular squad if its what wins it for our team. Teamwork is what wins in this game more than many other games and I am all about that. I hope there are some folks out there that enjoy this game in the same way as I do and can find their way to this post. Thanks again for reading!

Playing with like minded people that cherish teamwork and fairplay makes this game that much more rewarding to play. It "IS" pathetic when you join a full 64 pubbie and saw 58 of them is unassigned, half of the player on each side is TK'ing for vehicles and none of them ever defend a flag after they captured it.

My advice? If water is what you want, don't head for the desert.

even though we call ourselvs a 'Clan'
we do not compete in ladders or hold scrims, or practice
we just play every nite and laugh our buts off
to promote teamwork = even with visitors - we give them free ventrilo
and you get kicked for flying alone= ie TEAM SPORT
and btw - we usally CRRUSH the other team
yeah = we have some SMALL talents = but BIG on teamwork
