Yeah and shock paddles aren't meant to kill people. Though they do, just like wrenches (in real life). I don't see why not in BF2.

I believe that was supposed to be included, but wasn't due to release dates, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You mean things like Buddy List's, Battlefield TV, "In game" Clan creating, decent patches, better game code, release dates that are kept, and 100 players on a map? (that one is my favorite)

Actually, I'd think it would be *easier* to kill someone with a wrench, rather than with a set of medics shock paddles. Then again, I've never been able to test either one in real life, so we'll never know, will we =)

And yes, while there's always the knife, wouldn't it be satisfying to 'Gordon Freeman' someone with a big piece of metal.

If they allowed engineers to swing wrenches at people then they would have more ways of killing then any other kit.

Gun, Knife, Mine AND Wrench. I don't think any other kit has 4 do they?

There have been many times I wished I could swing that wrench at someone.

Here's my thoughts....

Gun, Knife, Mine AND Wrench. I don't think any other kit has 4 do they?

There have been many times I wished I could swing that wrench at someone.

Medic has 5.... knife, pistol, main gun, grenade, paddles

But you forgot to include grenade in the hypothetical engineer kit, so they would have 5 as well at that point.

P.S. I personally don't think have more ways to kill somebody has anything to do with why this isn't in the game. But it would be cool.
