This map is really good, should be a 24/7 of it. Is there a 24/7 server with this map?

I like playing a mix of Euro and Armored Fury maps but I already have 2/3 servers in my favorites with that, and one with 24/7 OSS, so is there a 24/7 Taraba Quarry?

I like a mix also. Sadly I have tried to run our server with a mix of EF AF and V-BF2. Sadly as soon as a map changes to EF (most of the time) the server empties, then we have a dead server. So lately we have just been running V-BF2 and AF.

My preference for Taraba Quarry is the 16 size, great tank battles. No Aircraft to worry about. But the 32 size could be really great if some of the ideas found in Operation Road rage could be incorportated. Such as more AA vehicles.

Really I enjoy all the EF maps, people just really don't know what they are missing. All they have heard is people say that it is crap so they didn't buy it. What is $10.00. Great Wall 16 is IMO the best infantry map in all Ranked BF2 maps. We often play these EF maps (16 size) on our 32 slot ranked server. Mostly on Mondays/Tuesdays. The one thing I wish I could change was the ticket ratio. 100 to 110 on a 32 slot goes to fast, that is why sometimes our server is set down to 26 slot on those days.

Well i must say that it's one of my favorite map to. This and the great wall, sadly no one plays it any more. Most of them complain that the air power is to great but i disagree that if you have good fighter pilots on both sides the bombers have hardly time to bomb something.

I agree - nobody really gave EF a chance. I like all 3 of the maps and have enjoyed playing them on some of the EF/AF servers out there.

I think EA should put a few servers up to support their booster pack, not just to make the community happy, but to actually support those who bought the booster pack. They should put a 24/7 Taraba Quarry and a 24/7 Great Wall, OSS too but theres already 1 or 2 of them.

Yes a mix is very enjoyable.

La Cantina has a thing where they do like tues, thurs, sat(?) are EF and the other days are AF.
101st might do a combination of both I think.

What would make it interesting is maybe dedicate 3/4 of the time to AF because it is a newer mod. Than maybe equal it out later and throw in some Vanilla also.

Well, actually, if I were EA, I would require that a ranked server would have to run the booster packs along with the regular rotation.

In BF2 I have been the co-pilot of a Jet twice. First time was when I was a pvt, it was on Operation Smoke Screen on this NL server, but that whole round I racked up like 25kills and he racked 40 or something, but got me my co-pilot ribbon.

2nd time it was on Taraba Quarry. My pilot actually lined me up for the shots, got some nice kills. Thats the reason why 24/7 Taraba would be cool, so I can do that some more.

Our Clan server that I admin. Normally I try and set our server to run EF and AF along with Most all BF2 Maps on Mondays and Tuesday's. Then SF on Thursdays. But sadly everytime we get to a EF map seems the server empties.

I personally love OSS. The two EU/MEC maps really take me back to the days of BF42-DC. Large open tank maps. I sent a IM over to Colin today to as they add a couple free maps to EF and AF. Putting one very good map in each and one OK map each. Bring the boosters up to 5 maps each. In the note, I suggested that DiCE has already put the work in for all the models and textures, just release a couple good maps and the community would buy their products and they would get more ranked servers.

I find operation smokescreen probably the best vehicle map ever in battlefield, even better than Desertshield and El alamein.

Unfortunately, I think taraba quarry sucks, and hated all of the hours i spent forced in that map. Great wall has tons of potential, almost completely ruined by extensive claymore whoring, worse than karkand or any other map.

For me EF means operation smokescreen. And it was worth the 11 bucks for that map.... as karkand proved, one map is what most people play anyway.

Funny how that works out. People have 400 hours in a single map! I say that and 3/5 of my time has been in Sharqi. But my roots were DC and EF has brought me back to what I loved, driving around in a T-72 and getting my rolling arched shots on! I am glad I don't have to hear the howl of a Hind-24 on my 6 anymore though! OSS I guess is just like 73 Eastings
