1.4 beta question

I downloaded the BETA, but how do I exit? all I see is BETA servers I cant see 1.3 servers

You need to reinstall your game unfortunately. The readme that came with the patch explains how to have both version at the same time.

You needed to make a duplicate BF2 folder. I run both off two different folders, that way I can run 1.3 and 1.4

Wouldn't it be nice if people followed advice rather than find things out the hard way?

There are many threads that tell you how to do this and as stated suggest to make a copy of BF2 Directory. Yes you will have to reinstall it again with 1.3 patch and then if you want to try 1.4 beta I suggest you do back up the Directory.
