Dynamic shadows always <OFF> !?

Hi I have a little problem i cant turn on Dynamic Shadows. In option menu i choose LOW,MEDIUM,HIGH- Hit apply than setting goes back to <OFF> (only for Dynamic Shadows).
Then i go to MY Documents/BF2/Profiles/001/Video/ change from off to Medium, save. Open up BF2/options the shadows again on OFF.
I try to full reinstall bf2 then full 1.3 patch but it didnt help.
My system Spec. is :
P4
3.20 Ghz
1.50GB of Ram
Nvidia 6200 256MB

The shadows was always on medium but since yesterday i cant change it.

Well, I'm pretty sure that it isn't your graphics card, since it's DirectX 9.
It's hell no way your PC, neither is it the RAM.


Wait...I've had this before!


Ontop of the Shadows option, there's a lighting option. That lighting option should be set to medium or high for shadows to work. I have no clue why, but that's the way it works. :)
