Why use the FULL 1.3Patch

since the launch of the 1.3patch i used the incremental version, facing the usual problems of CTD, LAgging and Conection Errors

last night i downloaded the full version and installed it on my current ( already 1.3patched ) BF2 installation

since yesterday no CTD, no Connection Errors

AND the most important thing that is the main reason i am writting this thread is that i noitced many Graphics and visual upgrades and changes

my english is not that good to tell u what i have noitced but it is good enough to recommand that everyone that haven't used the FULL version yet to do and report back if he will notice thos changes also or not

I'm glad to hear that you have fixed your problems.

Many other threads talk about this, and we all agree that useing the 1.3 Full Patch is better then the incremental.

P.S. I have never meet a gamer from Egypt.

I deleted my battlefield 2 game and reinstalled and applied the full 1.3 patch. Still having all the problems. I also recently updated my radeon drivers. Anybody else having this problem.?

Ya I'm having this problem too and I'm on the verge of taking my game back where I bought it. I keep crashing to desktop.

this may not help at all, but i fixed my freezing problem by opening bf2 using it's EXE once instead of the desktop shortcut . it might sound stupid but if you've tried everything else it's worth a shot

@ kman u can share the specs of ur system with us, are u using Cat 6.6 ???

ALSO i mae sure to use those commands as soon as i log-in to any server

P.S. I have never meet a gamer from Egypt

probably cause of many factors some of them are
[1] we are used to use cracked games cause most fo the people are not that rich to buy games
[2] people who have enough money, they spend on other stuff not on Computers, and that si because it is very very very rare to find a person that understand that a 6200 with 512mb of ram is not better than a 7800GT with ONLY 256 fo ram :S
[3]Persons who knows about something like Conroe or even my own cpu ( opteron 165) is less than 5 persons including me :)

I was only able to find another Person in whole Egypt who bought BF2, and he is not playing ti anymore

maybe there are more but i doubt that anyway and i have spent a great amoutn fo time searching for them and couldn't find except the person i mentioned above

I am using Catalyst 6.6. Here are my specs: 2.8 Ghz processor, 1Gb Ram, Radeon 9800 Pro with 256 MB Ram.
