That has happened to me a few times in BF2 when dogfighting and getting a little too close to my target, or they slow down. If you bump in to the back of a plane, it acts almost if the cockpit glass doesn't exist and the tail end of the plane goes through the glass and road kills you squish style.

It was obvious that the pilot was on extasy and the excessive adrenaline flow from the muchos speed caused a heart failure. Glad to see the pilot did hes duty and lowered the landing gear just in case the US govermnent wanted to sue the pilots family for wasting the assets...

I'm sure the US government could have paid for a new F-35 without forcing his family into poverty.:p

My fave plane death is just trying to get in and dieing from runnining under the wing and crushing yourself..wtf.
I have had that happen tho...Ive gotten to close to trees...I watched my plane in death camera slowly fall from the sky.
Its also possible to kill the pilot with the cannon to roght? Im pretty sure Ive doen it and had it done to me.

A few times in the last few days I have been taken out by artillery. It took me once or twice to realize thats what it was! Flying in for a run and BOOM!!

But the FUNNIEST thing just happened last night when I wasn't recording. I was on chinese, I stole the F-35B and I was damaged (4 bars left).. So.. I go over to repair, and I was slowing down to like 250, JUST as I get over the runway, a speeding F-35B RAMS me, BUT.... I didn't lose ONE bar of health, the other guy died, I got a kill... and the funniest ****ing thing happened.... hahahaha. I was at like 10 ft above the airfield right? Well, when I got hit, it spun me into a barrel roll. I did a barrel roll, and GAINED about 30 ft.... LOL.
