Medal updates jacked?

Not cool. For a while now I've been trying to get my Elite Sniper Badge, and the other night I'd finally surpassed the 35 kill mark. However, instead of the drumming and the badge appearing on the top right, nothing happened. I didn't think much of it at first, after all your data isn't updated automatically all the time (let alone at two in the morning) so I figured I could check the next day. It's been three days and nothing! What is this? I haven't played for much compared to most of you, only a bit over 300 hours, but half of that I've been playing as a sniper. 35 kills on foot is no easy task, let alone for a sniper. It really ruins the game experience; when you reach what you believe is a milestone in your BF2 career (yeah, it's just a game, I know, but the badges are there for a reason, aren't they?) and get pushed aside... well, it sucks to say the least. Screw you, EA/DICE.

\has happened to me before...Did the server crash or did you get the 'there is a problem with your connection' message appear?
If not, did you finish the round or press 'esc' before it finished? these can all stop you from recieving a badge.
If not, are you sure you ahve met all the requirements...i would check again. Below is a site that offers stats and gives all requiremenst..just type in your nickname and hover over the badges. I hope this helps..

its 40 kills is it not for the expert was for when i got my anti-tank expert

Every kit is different, sniper is only 35 kills.

It doesn't hafta be on foot. Jump in a jet or a tank on a city map as a sniper and start shooting.

it's only 35 kills for expert sniper (38 for the expert sniper specialist badge) and every kill has to registered as killed by something not just [Killed]. So maybe you hit some barrels and it killed some guys. Either way... do it again. happened to my friend too, he did it again and had no problems.

I figured if you've already got over 160 hours playing sniper... 38 kills shouldn't be a problem.

If you could make it once you can make it once more... big deal. If you feel hopeless J10 rape get the badge since you dont have to proov to yourself that you can make 35 kills on foot.

Double check that you have 100 global hours BEFORE the round that you got 36 kills as well. Your global hours have to be updated before the game will let you get your expert badge in a round.

i got my expert at my 40 kill not 35. It is 40 kills. i say just get in a tank on karkand and go kick some butt.

Happened to me today. Going for Veteran Chopper, I checked before the round started, and I had over 50 hours in a chopper. I jumped into the Cobra and started shooting. 12 kills, no badge. 20 kills, no badge. I hit 35 kills and just gave up.

thats correct. u must get the kill while a sniper, kill the enemy with sniper weapons only (sniper rifles, clay or grenades or knife or pistols). and the most important thing many people miss out. its kinda like a streak, ie dont change kits or pickup a kit halfway or the count is lost. i realised that while i tried out my basic badges again with a new account. u most likely changed kits halfway. or the kill was not registered as a sniper kill, jus simply [Killed].
or the kill was after u died, its not counted as a sniper kill too. especially those clay kills while u were waiting to spawn again, those dont count too.
