Your joking right? i mean the ROE reporting system is based on the fact that the reporter is honest and not on some sort of vendetta..., it would be very easy to fake screenshots.

Just curious if ROE had a 'reward' system for people who report glitchers/cheaters/stat padders.

I've since stopped reporting them because nothing happens to the ones I report. I feel really discouraged spending the time to report these guys so what if there was a 'rewards program'?

The reward is getting smacktards and asshats to play something other than BF2. If there as a physical reward system, then it would be exploited to no end. People would be photochopping their screenshots to no end, trying to be a taddle tale on any and everyone that even look at them wrong.

People would be reporting everyone who got a headshot on them as cheaters and anyone who has a knife badge as stat padders.

if had pic evedence , then should get accounts closes coz cheats etc are just skillless noobs

All reports that come through us we look over and validate for proof and send up again this is NOT our final decision it is up to EA. But all reports are looked at and sent up the food chain if they are true reports with proof. We do NOT give any kind of favortism or special treatment. The system works as long as there is proof and EA agrees to approve the report.

The heck with the individual players who cheat... my question is "What about the ranked servers that cheat?!"

Look in the listing any time, and there are always Knife/Pistol servers running... what the heck is wrong with EA that they don't immediately revoke their ranked status?

It would cost about $8.50/hour to hire someone who would go in, take screenies of the players listed in these servers, and forward them on to EA, every day. They would then have hundreds of people to stat-wipe per week. Maybe per day. Not that the players matter, but if word got out that it was a pointless exercise to pad on these servers, their populations would drop, and they would eventually close.

The fact that EA fails to police the servers, or do anything about the players who fill them up, says everything you need to know about how seriously EA takes the whole issue of stat-padding. For them, having people pay outrageous amounts for a ranked server is vastly more important than ensuring any level of fairness in how people are earning stats on ranked servers. It's a complete farce.

the ROE does already have a sort of reward system,,

by keeping the servers and ranking system as pure as we can, we all get to compete on a level playing field..

The best reward to us is EA taking some real action by wiping out all the whores.
But EA itself is money whore. So nothing will ever happen........

Have you tried playing on servers that actually have rules or admins yet? Just a suggestion here, you might want to stop hanging around the 24/7 Glitchers World type servers and play somewhere decent for a change. The more you visit the crappier servers the more they stay online to support gamers like you. If you don't feed it then it will go away.

uh no.. Because then everyone would go reporting others becuase they killed them 2 times in 1 round. That's stat padding. Or they went 30-0 in a tank, yep padding.

I know the system is not perfect yet, but it's always being revised so hopefully it will be alot better by the time 2142 comes out

that's part of the problem. I know the game is dying. But when the people that help enforce the rules say they are basically not worrying about the current game, but are working to make it better for when the next comes. Shows how far gone things really are.
