What if ROE had a 'reward' system to report glitchers/cheaters/stat padders?

Just curious if ROE had a 'reward' system for people who report glitchers/cheaters/stat padders.

I've since stopped reporting them because nothing happens to the ones I report. I feel really discouraged spending the time to report these guys so what if there was a 'rewards program'?

Seeing any of the people ive reported actually being dealt with would be reward enough for me, but alas, im yet to be rewarded.

But the rewards program would inevitably increase false reports. Plus that would mean that BFROE, and EA would actually have to do things - take action against those who violate ROE.

the ROE does already have a sort of reward system,,

by keeping the servers and ranking system as pure as we can, we all get to compete on a level playing field..

I understand what you were getting at, but I was refering to "getting the persons points." People would make it a profession to report people for the sole purpose of getting their points.

Thus "report-padding" (a form of stat-padding) and "report-whores."

I saw your post of like 20 people you reported with no consequences. So reporting works... thread, I think. Man, I spend too much time on these forums while at work.

People would be reporting everyone who got a headshot on them as cheaters and anyone who has a knife badge as stat padders.

It seems that if you get your Vet. and Expert knife/pistol badge in the same day, you are probably stat-padding. Or playing too much in one day. I'm sure EA has the ability to look up exact times/rounds when an award is given. That would be plenty of evidence IMO.

The reward is better gameplay in a clean environment free of people that love to disrupt your gaming experience. This is the right that every gamer has and it is the job of people that fight against cheating etc to help in this quest.

We are really here to help out the community and the gamer.. IMO the gamer is my #1 concern.

Your right that maintaining a level playing field would be a reward on its own but there is a perception that the system doesn't do that. K&P servers openly advertise that they violate ROE yet it appears that they can get away with it. Where's the level playing field?
