Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Dragon was the call sign given to me when flying fighters in the USMC
they said I was as invincible as the "mythical dragon"
too bad - that is not true in BF2
There are some funny names in this game. I've been killed by ASilentFart. I've played with PhantomFart but he is no relation cause I had to ask him. I've seen HairyArmPit, Goats@$$. and the list goes on.
Hey TopGunGreg you lucky bugger getting to fly jets for real. I used to feed the pilots in the RNZAF but there was no way I could get a fly in one. I only got to fly my Hang Glider but managed to get over 35 hours in it. Not all at once though.
Well my mates have called me Lan or Lanser for years, a nickname loosely based on my surname. Used to play Medal of Honour as a LAN game occasionaly years ago and went through several names seeing Panzerschreks lying about so that offered some inspiration, I tended to use Lanserschrek frequently, it grew on me more than the other ones, sounded good for me so I just stuck with it.
i was walking around my gf house and i saw a loofah (sponge net thingy). thought the name was pretty unique. obviously it wasn't, thats why i added the S to it, my real name is Scott.
Great Idea Viru$ and Very Original Thread! I have always been curious on how some people have gotten their in-game names? And I have seen some doosies over the years!
Mine is pretty simple, I grew up in Jersey City New Jersey, and spent 6 years in the Army as an (MP) Military Policeman. My Drill Instructor from boot camp gave me the tag G.I.Jersey. And believe me it was alot better then some of the other names he called my fellow recruits! LOL The term G.I. is an abbreviation for Government Issue. It became a popular nickname back in World War II when our soldiers were refered to as G.I.'s. I guess it sounds better than what our American infantrymen were called in World War I, DoughBoys. I just can't envision being called "Doughboy Jersey"
Mine is from one of my favorite movies Saving Private Ryan so I figured why not switch the words around and add an "s"? I'm aka XPrivateXRyanX also. :)
I had my name used to be delta gamer, somethig like that, In one game that you can drive/fly vehicles (not Bf2) somebody told me that i am a good blackhawk pilot, and it turns out I am. So changed my name to Blackhawk (nope already taken) so Blackhawk 5. And it turns out, after a while, im a good blackhawk pilot as well, before they nerfed it in the patch, my favorite map used to be Mashtuur, and you know why . Nicknames for my name, people get lazy typing so, they call me black, hawk5, bh5, and stuff like that.
Ive had this name since Delta Force: 2. I thought it would be funny having the name 'Telemarketers' cause the kill message would read "TeLemarketers sent blahblah to the morgue". So i had to shorten it to TeLe since it couldnt fit in all the other games I played with my squad tag.
My callsign comes from my Navy days as an electronics tech.. we were called "tweaks" or "tronchasers", you know, as in chasing electrons around circuit boards.. It has nothing to do with the movie "Tron", or have anything to do with "Transvestites".. for some reason people always call me "Tranchaser"... how annoying.
