BF2 + 1.3 patch

Im going to buy BF2, and im just wondring, when i install the game, i want to download the 1.3 patch and all the new maps and stuff. does that mean i have to like download patch 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 or whatever, or is all the data put in patch 1.3?

in short: do i have to download every patch, or just patch 1.3?

You can just download the FULL 1.3 patch, which is around 500 MB I believe.

so i can do the full 1.3 when im installing the game? is it in the installation?

EDIT- bf2 is only 500mb? i thought it was like 2gb.

You have to install Battlefield 2 completely.
Then you download the FULL 1.3 patch from battlefield 2 website
Battlefield 2 v1.3 (438MB) <<< is what you need

Then install, restart, enjoy!

Yes, there are two types of patches.

Full, and incremental.

What you want, is Full. Where you go from the un-patched version, the the most recent version, right in go.

Incremental is like what you described (what you don't want) where it moves from patch to patch.
