when is the testing for 1.4 going to be done so every moves to 1.4?

I guess it depends on if they just try to fix the bugs and say good enough and release or if they release a Beta2 for us to test some more.

I kind of hope there's a quick turn around and we get Beta2 to test out before they make 1.4 final.

If you have troubles patching your game for whatever reason you should probably just hold off, it's no big deal to make a copy of your current BF2 folder and then run the patch, simple as renaming a folder to switch between 1.4 and 1.3 if you know what you're doing.

You don't gain rank points in the beta, don't install it thinking everyone switched to 1.4 beta except you, stick with 1.3 if you want to "play" the game.

I'm pretty sure it will be released before August, or exactly before when the 2142 open beta is going to begin. I'm not sure but isn't BF2 being developed by a different studio than 2142 (DICE Sweden)? If so, it can be months before 1.4 is released.. if of course DICE Canada isn't working with Sweden to create 2142.

i played 1.4 earlier, didnt seem much different then ofc i wouldnt :p
tho i only found 2 servers both europe multiplay full of people who kept whinging about playing the new map.. why they cant wait for the rotation i dont know it was kinda teadyess

Google Qtracker and use that program to search and join servers instead - better filters, and other good options.
