Help reinstalling

I haven't played BF2 in a really long time...probably a good 6 or 7 months. I tried to upgrade to the newest version a while back and I couldn't get it to work. Now I want to just reinstall BF2. My question is about the order of installing. I have Special Forces so should I reinstall, install Special Forces, and then 1.4 full? If I decide to get Armored Fury and Euro Forces sometime down the road do I need to install the latest patch after the booster? Thanks.

Install BF2. Install 1.3 Full update.

The 1.4 is only a beta patch and you may want to steer clear of it for now.

Later, if you get EU or AF or SF, you will then need to reinstall the full 1.3 update.
