Of course they didn't patch it. I've already thought of a way cheaters could get the Vodnik up into the main flag area (no its not driving up the stairs). I'm not expecting anything good out of this patch if no changes are made to IO, but that's jsut me. People will always be looking for new ways to gain cheap advantages, and there are always ways out there, some obvious and some not.

I happen to been invited to a locked squad as a sniper and I was right next to the dropped vehicle, I hoped in and when I hoped out, I was in the inside of the hotel. I thought at first this was cool. I could not do much as a sniper but enjoy the view, when I was killed, I spawned as a support guy to at least get some pts. It was boring in there so I walked to close to a wall and died and spawn some where else.

In one game, some guys stayed in there and we could not capture the Hotel flag even with a tank, That really is going to far, and we lost,because of that cheat, so once was enough for me

I don't think it is ruining karkand. It sucks, but it isn't the end of the world.

Just avoid that point. It's that simple. Instead of trying to storm that point, go grab the square, the suburb or any one of the other numerous points on the map.

Once another point is captured and held, the exploit becomes virtually useless.

It's like people have no ability to adjust. Like most complaints people have with BF2, the way to avoid it is just by doing something different. I have seen the exploit, but it has never been much of an issue for me because there is so much more to do on that map.

Yeah, there was this one guy I saw in there today. He was commander so he gave himself the vehicle drop. I was on the US so I couldn't do anything about it. I tried to tell everyone in the sever. Their response:

"Get ammo, here."
"Get first aid, here."
"Enemy boat spotted."
"Get first aid, here."

Then, the glitcher said, "OMG its not a cheat its a car trick!!!!!!!!11one!.":|: I'm suprised no one saw that he had 40 kills and no deaths. I guess people think its perfectly fine for bullets to come out of walls.
