Define it, what would you call base raping in what circumstances is something gone as far as base raping?

I was playing on a [JOLT] server the EuroForce one, and the Euro Force where winning, so as always if the EuroForce wins then obviously, naturally base raping will occur no? Okay heres how I have always thought of it, Base raping is when a team constantly overkills a enemy teams uncapable base while there are still other flags the enemy has in play, am I right?

So what happened here was as usual the MIG's rape our Euro base where the choppers are, but the admin allows it ''[OTW]_Boxheaded'' and we also have Snipers ontop of the roof M95'ing anyone who gets in the chopper, forgot to mention the AA vehicles which came down the top hill and sat destroying everything in site.

So we capp all flags as a team, then you have 2 other guys in tanks, with scores of 20-0 etc, they are at the bottom near the entrance of the MEC uncapable, keep in mind we have all the flags. So what happens is our tanks are destroying the other tanks, the enemy commander was in a jet. So I take a tank down to where my team were, and sit beside them repairing them, my score is 4 kills and 4 deaths, I was not even blasting away. I took out one tank at most and helped my teams tanks, just repairing them away, then kicked for base raping? oh but wait the other 2 who were blasting away at the entrance aren't kicked.

So I go back in server and the admin has team switched to our team, so I say to him ''why did you kick me?'' he just ignores. So I really want to know what I did wrong? or is this just an over-zelous admin?

No why should I put up with this crap. It did not say ANYTHING in the server rules about base raping, but they are allowed to rape our base just because the admins on their team???? It said if you need to contact an admin use IRC, but I don't have that, so what else can I do?

If it makes you feel any better i've been kicked for killing the same guy 6 times in a row with the L96A1 sniper rifle in about 8 minutes, he was a sniper aswell and i think because i got the better of him he kicked me, apparently for teamkilling or successful kick vote! Think he was just ****ed cos i got the better of him as the same kit!

Nope doesn't make me feel better, what you have posted just shows the injustice of some admins. Just because you have more precision on aiming than that admin doesn't mean they should kick you. If a team is so incompetent to cap flags then they deserve to be base raped, if a team is made up of good teamwork and good combat and an enemy team does none of that and just sits waiting on the jet or the heli even though its in use which was precisley my situation.

If you are on a server and the admin is stupid, then take note and dont play that server anymore. Ive been kicked for many of the same reasons that you and others have, but I just dont let it bother me. There is plenty of other things in life for me to stress over, like people who drive slow in the passing lane on the highway.

If you have all the flags like in Dalian Plant then attacking the carrier is awesome. I drove a APC in the water numerous times killing soldiers leaving in the little boats, Also took out the AA on the carrier with a rocket and some firing, that was cool. Also as a sniper I took out three guys alone as I was on the ground level(they could not kill me, one shot and they were dead) :evil:

Or you could always just go back to a simple game like CS where there aren't as many things to kick for

Parking outside an uncappable flag and killing spawning infantry/destroying vehicles is base r-ping. You wouldn't have had this issue if you stayed out of the uncap area, right?

What you described is base raping. It isn't as bad as spawn killing though. On my server, the only time that I allow base raping is if all the cappables are capped. But if you were playing in a server where this wasn't the case, I think you just have to be the better man.

As for what the other guy said about an admin kicking him for owning him with a sniper, just don't go on that server. If I get owned on my server by a sniper I'll get ****ed, but I won't kick somebody just for being good.That's retarted.

Base raping is allowable only if your team has every other flag. As a spec op, it is allowable to go into enemy uncaps to blow up assets - or at least those were the two instances that I was made to understand were basic rules. You'll ALWAYS find admins that kick for a variety of lame-o reasons, so I mark their ips and do not return. with so many servers at any given time, I take my outrage at being kicked and channel it into whatever server I land at next...

We did have every other flag.

It's the only 24/7 OSS server.

Rent my own server because of one admin? Die.
