Instead of 'infantry mode', what if EA/DICE did this...

• Replace Tanks/APCs spawns with Heavy Jeeps
• Replace AA vehicle spawns with Light Jeeps
• Remove Jets
• Replace Attack Helicopters spawns with Transport Helicopters (i.e. USMC Wake Island 2007 carrier would now have 3 Blackhawks)

That's it. Add that as a server option instead of this complicated version of 'infantry mode' and it would breed new life into the game.

btw i like the idea that way its some thing for every one.
they should make duplicte maps with out vechiles to see how many players would actually use them that way they would find out if its best suited for the community to have both.

Have you seen the changes they they have in the currently implemented 'infantry mode'? You'll understand why we're suggesting this simple change.

I've tested the Beta 1 and IO has really not been thought through. Don't get me wrong I would love to play without all the vehicles but dont start changing the gameplay!

The stuff the OP has mentioned is a lot better wat to make an IO gamemode, the stuff you guys released isn't even playable... Better yet, did you even try playing it yourself for 5 minutes??

QFT! IO = Unplayable in beta 1, and this is why I think there are absolutely no official test servers running infantry only.
