I own Pandora tommorow and Chaos theory, the single players are good and the graphics are nice (can be quite lagy on high settings).
I played the Chaos theory multiplayer for a few weeks but I kept getting pwned so I stopped :) The multiplayer only alows 4 people on one server so gameplay can be a little slow.
Co-op mode is very fun if you can find someone who plays at the same time as you, it is just a modified singleplayer where it takes two people to complete.
I recommend you at least get Chaos theory. -

Graphics are outstanding.
Gameplay is slow. You're a spy where stealth is KEY. You CAN go in guns blazing, but you won't make it far that way. Usually you're limited on ammo, so sticking to the shadows and being invisible is best.
Each level is usually long, given you play as you are supposed to. But this makes it all the more satisfying when you complete it. If you can go completely through without being detected, it's even better.
I started with the first, but Chaos Theory is definitely the best, while Pandora Tomorrow is probably the worst (which is not a bad thing, it's still a great game).
Online multiplayer is great. With CT, you can play Co-op which is even better. And it looks like things will get even better with SC: Double Agent which is coming this fall.
I recommend a rental to try things out and see what you think. I didn't care for stealthy games like Thief before playing this game and it totally hooked me. Now, I even like games like Thief and Hitman. Sometimes I wish BF2: Special Forces would've been more Splinter Cell like, but "oh well".

I would definitely buy Splinter Cell. It's far better than the others for many reasons that I'm too lazy to spill out; I'll just say the plot isn't crap. You're not getting anything extra with the others besides multiplayer which was very disappointing. If you really like Splinter Cell, I would then rent Pandora Tomorrow which was enjoyable although not great like the first. Chaos Theory really just seemed like a cash-in to me. The dialogue and characters were lame, and stuff was just thrown in to lengthen the game. It's like Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12.Comment

GET THESE GAMES, i was always a fan of that series. if bf2 never came out for pc, ill probebly be playing chaos thory versus on xbox live. i also bought this for the pc, its even better.
