    1.4 : can't find the map 'EA Games' ??

    Hello,

I don't seem to have a map called 'C:\Program Files\EA GAMES' or something like it ... What to do now ? I still want to be able to play ranked after patching :hmm:

Btw : When 1.4 final comes out, can we slamm it over the 1.4 beta or do we need to reinstall the whole lot ?

Ummmhh? You do know what a "map" is, right? And there is no "map" that's called Program Files/EA Games. That is a "folder".

If you don't have that folder, it's probably because you either #1 haven't installed the game, or #2 have installed it to another directory.

Check the properties of your bf2 start icon.
Look for the "Start In" line, this is where you have the game installed.
Mine looks like this "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2", which is the default installation directory.
