My plain old optical mouse died after heavy use so I went to get another one. Instead of getting the same old thing I decided to "upgrade." I ended up getting the comfort optical mouse 3000 from microsoft because it had a couple of features I liked and thought I could utulize. I regret it now. It's great for webbrowsing because it has a third button which I planned on using in teamspeak, and it also does side to side scrolling for those large images and webpages, but for bf2 it blows!
I set the speed in control panel but the mouse was flying around fast as heck in bf2 so I had to set the sensitivity in bf2 to .30! That works in game but when you go to commander mode it speeds up again and is real hard to control. It's now very difficult to accurately spot enemy with the mouse pointer flying around wildly. I don't understand why there's such a huge difference in mouse speeds in game and in command mode. With my plain old optical mouse they were the same. This new fancy shmancy mouse is a pain!
If you know a secret to getting the two synced so I can use the thing in commander mode without so much difficulty, let me know! Thanks
