1.4 patch + new map ... raises following questions ...

- is it realy that simple to go back to 1.3 (by renaming the map bf2) as described ?

- once you go back to 1.3, is it stable ?

- once you go back to 1.3, can you play RTJallalabad ranked ?

yes it does work and no you can't play Jalalbad

It works fine. Just played some Jalalabad, then went back and played 1.3 wake island.

Been switching several times today, no problems. Jalalabad is fun.

I got some serious performance drop after installing the patch (1.4). Not just my 1.4 version, the old 1.3 too! Anyone else have the same problem?

I don't know what my old FPS used to be, but now I'm cruising at ~10, really unplayable.

Keep in mind that both installs will use the same profiles & caches in My Documents so you may want to clean those caches out when switching back.
