Making unranked server's

Hi guy's, does is cost to make an UNRANKED SERVER? And if it dosen't, how do you make one?

I'm pretty sure you need to rent a server, which, yes, will cost money.

You can run a local server from your own setup. This will not have the ISP throughput capacity to have more than three or four players on it without serious lag and finally crashing, but you can do your own.

If you have a box at a colocation facility, you can similarly set it up and it would have a larger capacity, but the money involved in doing that if you don't already have the box there would be great, and you would be saving money by just renting the server.
