Questions on running a Lan

Hey All,

Im new to the BF scene, previous MOH addict. Just a few questions.

I want to hold a LAN.
Is there some admin program to easily control maps etc.

Is there a local stats program that you can run on your server to take stats etc for the day of the LAN

What is a good map map to use.


Any one have some good tips to make the lan day good....

Great thats what I need,

Am I best to setup a PC with BF on it, (if so do I need another CD Key for the server)
Do I need the server files or are the for internet servers.

You can download the unranked BF2 server files from EA for either Windows or Linux.

Does ABR require internet connection to run,
Would the BF2statistics be better from http://www.bf2statistics.com./news.php
as it seems stand alone perfect for a lan party

cant you make an unranked server for the net and have people join using teh server launcher?
