Grrr...can't download battlerecorder demos.

So I filter the server list for Battlerecorder servers only. I play a whole round, maybe even a whole 5 rounds. So, when a new map is loading, I go to the Community tab. I cheerfully see the server names, verifying that I was playing in a Battlerecorder server. I press download, it tells me "Couldn't find host!"


Why? If this is seconds after I left the server, it's obvious that it should easily find it. My internet is great, I always have about 60-85 ping. I do, however, have a firewall. Could that be the problem?

I have a similar problem with our teams server because the team leader did not update the url of the demos recorded.

BUT I found that if I search the server on www.game-monitor.com and see the settings for demos, it shows a valid url where I find our servers demos.

Yup, the problem is the server isn't configured properly. Talk to the server admin.

I find this the case 90% of the time.

Very true. They don't show up in the community tab though.
