I don´t know but BF2 reminds me much more of the book "jarhead" then BHD.

u know the map i think it is warloard or something in sf special forces there is a map with a crashed black hawk in the middle that kinda looks like the movie k hawk down

Read the book.
If you liked the movie, the book is a must read. Much more information on what really happened and it even gives a rather balanced accounting that includes the skinny on the Skinny's views (sorry, couldn't help the pun).

I just resently had an interesting chat with a guy from Simolia too. He had some very interesting things to say on the whole business. Most of them aren't appropriate for these boards, tho. :p

Great movie and the black hawk mini gun in battlefield 2 should be powerful just like in that movie.

They were back when BF2 was in it's prime (1.00 Patch).

Ya they were annoying, but I loved it like that. Back in 1.00 if you heard the slightest sound of a BH you would RUN!

I liked it like that - at the time I didn't, but had I known that they would turn the BH guns into what they are now, I would've been one of those people begging for no change. Right now the BH guns are totally nerfed and you can't do anything with them even at medium range :cry:.

I wish the BH in bF2 would actually spin when hit in the rear rotor and crash when it's heavily damaged not just blow up in the air

i remember that the BH was the ultimate battlefield map

the noise of helicopter blades still gives me flashbacks of being totally owned by the BH minigun you heard that weapon fire up no one or nothing was safe not even tanks :laugh:

I am halfway through the book right now and you are right, much more accruate information.

One thing i found very interresting is how the service "makes" these rangers want to go to war.

Yeah its a good film but the book is even better, if memory serves me right the U.S got 4 choppers shot down/crash landed on the same day but (Super 61) is the only one everyone knows about.

Written by the guys that were there, Sgt Eversman, Dan Schilling, Mike Durant, etc.
