cant find password

Ok, heres the thing....

My BF2 game has been working fine up until yesterday. I have resently had my password set to remember, so I can automatically log in, but yesterday that option was disabled, so I manually typed my password in. After 15 seconds or so it said my password was incorrect. Thinking that i had just forgot it, I reset my Password. Even this password is incorrect. Has any1 had this problem before, because i don't want to lose my main account.

And will asking EA to send a proper password do anythink ?

i am in the same boat. i have tried call and emailing EA and they say they have no ability to reset or tell you what your password is. we must either remember our passwords or create a new unique ID :cry: :cry: :cry:

You may not want to but if you like PM me with your BF2 nick and what you think your password is and I'll give it a go on my machine this afternoon (will be home in 3 hours).

At least if it doesn't work for me either you'll knoa that it's got nothing to do with your system.

I have actually sent my nick and pass to a friend and it just says account is invalid...

and as for your other post ill go hav a look now.

O, another friend told me that this also happened to him, but he sent an email to EA with his email address or something to retreve his true passowrd.

Yeah. Gamespy run the login server and your BF2 nick and password should allow you to login to the address that Talus gave you and even change the password from within.

I've never seen an 'account is invalid' error when trying to log in to BF2.

It must be something with EA.
